From the press release, Hachette states that "The Twilight Saga’s translation rights have been sold in nearly 50 countries and 116 million copies have been sold worldwide. Twilight: The Graphic Novel Volume 1
debuted at #1 on the New York Times bestseller list. Twilight was named the #1 bestselling books of the decade by USA TODAY." This franchise seems to be continuing to grow exponentially.The graphic novel will feature the illustrations of Young Kim, who hails from Korea and has a "unique artistic style which combines Asian and Western comic techniques". The novel also "contains selected text from Meyer’s original novel". The release date is set for October 11, 2011.

Sourcebooks annouced earlier this week that author Grace Burrowes' debut novel, The Heir
, "has made the New York Times eBook Fiction Bestseller List at #31". Not only is this a first for Burrowes, but also for Sourcebooks Casablanca, the imprint responsible for the novel's publication, as this is there first offering to reach bestseller status. This week, my inbox has uncovered two new e-readers set to hit the markets in June. Both Kobo and Nook will now have touch screen e-readers available. Both boast on-screen keyboards and faster page turning, which is a big issue I've had with my own Kobo. They are both competitively priced at $139, though whether that Kobo price is in Canadian or US dollars is unclear in the e-mail.
Kobo and Nook both offer Wi-Fi capabilities for easy book shopping. The differences, as far as I've been able to tell, is Nook's E Ink display, allowing easy reading in bright sun versus Kobo's five colours of e-reader to choose from. Kobo is also offering a reading rewards feature, that appears to offer awards for certain reading accomplishment. Only time will tell which stands to be the superior product, but I think opinion is as widely ranging on e-reader requirements as there are types of books available.
Now, we just need to see a reasonably priced colour display e-reader with an excellent backlight. I can see a large personal inventory of e-readers in my future. You can pre-order either equipment now, following these links: Kobo, Nook.

@Melissa - I'm not sure how much each of the graphic novels includes of the original book(s), but I think I'll have to look into it now.
